Project Description

Works included the construction of 3m wide walking track, entrance road and car park to include kerbing, grading, levelling and topping up of road and car park, installation of gullies and associated connections to surface water drainage, construction of concrete footpaths, disconnect, source and re-connect water mains as required. Installation of lighting stanchions and associated ducting, Sewer connection and associated works and installation of seating as per specification, entrance road and 2500m2 car park to include kerbing, grading, levelling and construction of new road and car park, installation of gullies and associated connections to surface water drainage, construction of concrete footpaths, disconnect, source and re-connect water mains as required. Installation of lighting stanchions and associated ducting, Sewer connection and associated works and installation of seating as per specification. All works were completed in a safe and timely manner.

Project Description

Working in partnership with P. Elliott & Co. Ltd KC Civil Engineering Ltd provided all site enabling and services installation for this large warehouse in Portarlington, Co. Laois.

Initially we prepared all bulk earthworks. For this operation we made use of a cut & fill system with all excess clean and inert material disposed off site. We then provided all hard-standings and temporary site accommodation in the form of roads and storage areas.

The scheme entailed the provision of 4,000m3 of cut & fill, 2km of drainage and services, 30 manholes & chambers and 3,000m3 of granular fill. We installed all under floor services and concrete pad foundations. Towards the end of the job, we installed all kerbs, paving slabs, concrete car-parks and roads.

Project Description

This scheme entailed the construction of a new Hardware Retail unit in Prosperous Co. Kildare.

The works were constructed on a brownfill site. Initially KC undertook demolition and site clearance works. Then we proceeded to provide site access roads, drainage, chambers, site services to the new retail unit. We also excavated for and installed the reinforced concrete pad foundations. The scheme also involved the installation of a large Clargester petrol interceptor, manholes and chambers of varying sizes.

We also provided all permanent kerbing, slabbing, site services, car parking facilities, final access roadways and landscaping.

Project Description

This contract involved the complete upgrade of the infrastructure around Mckee Barracks, Blackhorse Ave, Dublin. Initially we undertook some very carefully planned out demolition works. This operation included both a mechanical and manual approach as the structures to be demolished were attached to the main Barracks.

Once demolition works were completed we then excavated around hard surfaces, breaking out concrete, tarmacadam and paviours. These operations were followed by the installation of new drainage including manholes, cast in-situ chambers, gullies, covers and frames. As part of this operation, we installed a new petrol interceptor. KC also installed new lines of services to cater for a new system of CCTV, street-lighting, communications cables, and water mains. This project, all undertaken in a live environment, called upon detailed and well thought out methodology and works programme.

Project Description

For this project KC Civil Engineering Ltd worked in partnership with MDY Construction Ltd to construct all works of a site enabling and civil engineering nature for this new Tender Meats Industrial &n Commercial unit in Clondalkin Dublin 22. We constructed all site hard-standings, access roads, footpaths, drainage, chambers & man-holes, site services and final external finishes. The project was completed in a built up operational part of Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
